Angela Halliday (aka. Malaka and Angela Smith) is a Health and Nutrition Coach and school teacher from the United States, currently living in Kuwait. She loves sharing knowledge and helping others in topics of health, nutrition, and lifestyle changes, especially when it comes to diets and nutrition.

Hi, I’m Angela, founder of YourBestLife4Ever. I’m a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Registered Medical Assistant, Personal Chef, NESTA Personal Trainer, Teacher, Mother, Daughter, Wife, Colleague and Friend.

I’m also a mad cook, lover of food and a recovered yo-yo dieter whose mission is to empower women to take charge of their lives and nutrition, through the practice of mindful eating without deprivation and guilt. I am often told that I am a passionate person who is willing to go the extra mile and over-deliver in providing insight that transforms people’s lives, especially in the way they view their eating, exercise, and body image.

My interest in health, diet, nutrition, and mindful eating, stems from years and years of yo-yo dieting, in which I struggled with food, fluctuation in in my weight, self-confidence, body image and bouts of mood swings all brought on from an undiagnosed thyroid disorder. I had symptoms of hypothyroidism for years and tested negative on more than one occasion. I wanted answers and I wasn’t about to give up! After seeing many doctors, I was finally diagnosed with hypothyroidism by a doctor who specialized in endocrinology and functional medicine. He was able to look for the root cause, run the right tests and he looked to food as medicine. It was good to finally have answers. I then began my journey of developing healthier habits, reducing my exposure to toxins, getting more sleep, building more balanced relationships within my life and with my food.

I have finally found freedom from food and freedom from my inner critic, allowing myself to live my best life forever. My primary goal is to inspire women to improve their health, nutrition, lifestyle and relationships, including their relationship with food, so that YOU too can Experience the Difference of Living YourBestLife4Ever.

“I believe that knowledge is power. Everyone should strive to improve themselves, no matter what stage of life they’re in. Your never to young or old and it’s never too early or late to begin, whether your wanting to improve your health, nutrition, physical activity, or develop a better mindset, continue your education, or even change your career (although this last one should be done wisely). The “KEY” is taking charge and moving forward, it is then that you will truly Experience the Difference of Living YourBestLife4Ever!”
