Angela Halliday (aka. Malaka and Angela Smith) is a Health and Nutrition Coach and former school teacher from the United States, currently living in Kuwait. She loves sharing knowledge and helping others in topics of health, nutrition, and lifestyle changes, especially when it comes to diets and nutrition.

Angela is a mad cook, lover of food and a recovered yo-yo dieter whose mission is to empower individuals to take charge of their lives and nutrition, through the practice of mindful eating without deprivation and guilt. She is a passionate person who will go the extra mile and over-deliver to provide insight that transforms people’s lives, especially in the way they view their eating, exercise, and body image.

Angela’s interest in health, diet, nutrition, and mindful eating stems from years of yo-yo dieting, in which she struggled with food, fluctuation in her weight, self-confidence and body image. She finally found freedom from years of disordered eating by developing healthier habits and more balanced relationships within her life and with food. Her primary goal is to inspire others to improve their health, nutrition, lifestyle, relationships, which includes their relationship with food.

Angela’s words of wisdom:

“I believe that knowledge is power. Everyone should strive to improve themselves, no matter what stage of life they’re in. Your never to young or old and it’s never too early or late to begin, whether your wanting to improve your health, nutrition, physical activity, or develop a better mindset, continue your education, or even change your career (although this last one should be done wisely). The “KEY” is taking charge and moving forward.”
