You seem to be struggling with just a few extra pounds. You just can’t seem to lose them no matter what you do or they keep coming back! Does this sound like you? You’ve been following a fairly strict diet and you have been working out daily. So, why could this possibly be happening? The answer may surprise you!

Toxic what?

Well, those few extra pounds might be toxins! If your gut is burdened with extra pounds of toxic waste, you will have difficulty losing weight and keeping it off!

Clean-eating and fitness are not the only things that go into the total weight-loss package! What enters our body through the nose, mouth and skin can have a major impact on your gut. Your gut is one of the most important organs in your body when it comes to losing weight.

Cooking with nonstick pans many which may contain polytetraflouroethylene (PTFE) and/or Perfluorooctanooic acid (PFOA) or drinking from plastic water bottles containing Bisphenols A (BPA), F (BPF) and S (BPS) which are all known endocrine disruptors and eating processed foods (many which may contain glyphosate residues and other endocrine disrupting chemical additives) can cause a gastrointestinal disruption which in turn leads to bloating, trouble losing weight, insulin resistance, diabetes, and a wide range of other health issues.

The long-term effects of PFOA’s, PTFE’s, BPA’s, BPF’s, BPS’s and processed food consumption can lead to heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and obesity. While it may be convenient to eat processed food and a bit hard to change your cookware, water bottles, plastic cups and or dinnerware, why risk it?

When it’s time to replace that nonstick cookware try replacing it with good old fashion cast iron cookware or ceramic cookware. Replace those plastic water bottles with steal trimax insulated bottles and plastic cup and dinnerware with glass, ceramic, or paper (if you are worried about killing trees, we can plant more trees and the environment, and your body will thank you for it).

Next have you completely removed all processed foods from your diet? This includes hot dogs, cereal, chips, soda, ice cream, French fries, burger buns, and candy! Processed foods aren’t natural. They are in fact loaded with chemicals and produced in a lab that has profit in their best interests! Junk food rewards our brains, not our bodies. The best thing you can feed your body is whole, fresh, green food. Ditch the fried chicken and tacos to-go! This should be the easiest thing for you to do.

The key is to have readily available whole foods at your fingertips. Snacking on processed foods is usually the result of not planning meals ahead of time, having convenient access to a vending machine, or eating out.

Head to your local health food store and pick up some organic strawberries, blueberries, bananas, or almonds. Plan your meals to be as raw and hearty as possible! Try adding dried dates to your dinner salad for a sweet addition that doesn’t wreak havoc on your body! The possibilities are endless! Don’t settle for processed foods. Settle for a happy, healthy life free of diseases due to poor diet. Achieve your weight-loss goals and say goodbye to processed foods today!
